An indoor hydraulic elevator becomes a jewel embedded in a stairwell full of light.

NOVA Elevators installed an indoor panoramic elevator in the city of Bolzano (Trentino Alto Adige region, in Northern Italy). The installation of the indoor hydraulic elevator took place in a 6 floors historical block-of-flats, including the basement, which dates back to WWII.
Why the home lift Suite?
It was not possible to install an outdoor elevator because of limitations in the neighbouhood borders. To solve this space constrictions, NOVA Elevators designed an indoor elevator which combines functionality and safety and at the same time preserves the aesthetics of the staiwell, which is enlighted by the natural sunlight of a magnificent skylight.
NOVA Elevators was chosen because the company was able to manage the entire project, from the design, to the building works, to the final installation of the elevator and to respect the delivery dates with no inconvenience for the neighbours during the construction.
How was the elevator designed and manufactured?
In order to meet the pecularities of the project, the client chose an indoor panoramic elevator Suite lift with different building materials:
- Glass structure with steel profiles with RAL paint;
- Opposed car folding doors made of glass with metal profiles;
- Cabin walls in Skinplate with panel button and two side mirros to increase the depth of the cabin;
- Granite-look cabin floor in White Sand colour.
The secret of a perfect installation
Brightness, silence, customization.
The choice of full-glass structure of the elevator and the installation of the hydraulic driven engine in the basement granted a final result perfectly in line with the indoor design of the building.
NOVA Elevators also handcrafted the details of the stairs and the handrail to complete the installation, which was finished in time with the deadline requested by the client.
The attention to these details allowed NOVA Elevators to realize the perfect installation.
