Lift Maintainers Training Courses with NOVA Technical Director Eng. Nicoli

Lift Maintainers training course in Bologna with the 30-years experience of NOVA Elevators.

The Italian professionals who want to become lift fitters and technicians of elevators and platform lifts have to pass a compulsory exam which includes theory, practice and clear guidelines compliant with the international norms.

Some examples from the field are also needed, especially if they are taught by specialized experts who know elevators and platform lifts in all their aspects.

The technical director of NOVA Elevators, Engineer Filippo Nicoli, has brought his knowledge and experience to the preparatory course for lifts and home lift installers and technicians, held in Bologna province by a local coaching institute.

The 60 hours of the course are aimed at preparing the students for the exam required for the issue of the Certificate for the Maintenance of Elevators in accordance with the Italian Law.

Engineer Filippo Nicoli brought his experience focussing on the elevator technology and also in relation to Italian and international regulations.

Since January 2019, Mr. Nicoli is part of the CEN working group (European Committee for Standardization) and participates as an active member in the work related to the drafting of European standards (CEN / TC 10 / WG 08 “Stairlifts and lifting platforms for people with reduced mobility”).

Since 2014, he has also been a member of UNI (Italian Organization for Standardization of the EU norms), first with the UNI /CT 019 committee “Lift, home lift, escalator and similar equipment” and from 2016 he became an active member, representing NOVA Elevators as expert technician of the EN81 standards.
