NOVA Elevators remembers the victims of the storm in Italy

It is difficult to find the right words commenting this terrible tragedy..

says NOVA Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Fabrizio Nicoli.

Just as Emilia Romagna region recovered after the earthquake that wounded our region and our factory in 2012, we are sure that the regions affected by bad weather will show the same spirit and strength for which Italy is renowned.

he concluded.

The exceptional wave of bad weather occurred in the last weeks in Italy caused severe floods, strong storms and, regrettably, some victims.
A very strong wind detected at Passo Rolle at 217 km/h and the floods that caused the widespread emergency in Val di Fiemme and Val di Fassa (located in Northern Italy), led NOVA to the verification of the external lifts installed in the area. The home elevators installed in metal structures for exteriors passed the hardest and most unexpected test, that of the power of nature.

Likewise, NOVA proceeded with examining the external lifts installed in Trieste and in Liguria regions. Everything was fine in these areas too.

The unpredictability and strength of the storms was certainly a significant stress test for the outdoor systems.

Following an inspection of the plants, we have proven the correct functioning of NOVA installations.

said Cristian Rigotti from Center Lift, NOVA’s dealer in Trentino region.
